With this type of shrink film machine, products are placed between two layers of shrink and a heated L-shaped arm is lowered to seal the film around the product.
L-Bar shrink wrappers are often paired with a heat tunnel to seal the item covered in shrink film before the shrink tunnel applies heat for uniform shrinking around the product.
I-Bar Sealers
I-Bar shrink wrappers are similar to L-Bar shrink wrappers but feature a single sealing bar that fuses the film to wrap the items to be packaged, which makes them better suited for smaller products and applications with lower production speeds.
Side Seal Shrink Wrappers
Consider using an automatic side seal shrink wrapper machine when you need high speed continuous motion shrink wrapping. With side seal shrink wrappers, conveyors guide the product through the machine automatically applies, trims, and seals the film.
Shrink Tunnels
Shrink tunnels are well-suited for wrapping applications in large, industrial-scale operations where output and consistent wrapping are prioritized. Shrink tunnel machines use conveyors to move products at an consistent speed and maintain an even temperature. Many shrink tunnel systems are matched with L-bar sealers for increased effeciency.
Shrink Bundling
Shrink bundling machines apply film to unitize products during the secondary packaging process. Products can be shrink bundled together on a tray or corrugated sheets, or unsupported as a standalone load using Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) film.
